Siamo entrati in questa casa per la prima volta quando l'intervento di restauro e risanamento conservativo generale del fabbricato era ancora a metà dell'opera. Ed è così che l'unico elemento di ispirazione da cui è nato questo progetto è stato l'incantevole affaccio sul Mar Grande di Taranto.
Da qui è partita l'idea di ruotare il soggiorno di 45° così da garantire la vista di quell'affaccio dai divani, compensando gli spazi vuoti che si venivano a creare rispetto alla forma quadrangolare della stanza con una pedana attrezzata.
L'ingresso della casa è stato inscatolato in una boiserie che integra, nascondendole, le porte delle stanze e dei contenitori.
Le finiture, i materiali e gli arredi sono stati scelti nel rispetto dell'eleganza e unicità che rispecchia il carattere dei proprietari, coppia di medici, che avevano palesemente espresso il desiderio di volersi distinguere.
Una piccola SPA è stata annessa al bagno patronale che, senza soluzioni di continuità, fa da anticamera alla camera da letto matrimoniale. Dall'altro lato della casa, invece, è stata ricavata una playroom per ospitare gli amici, non del piccolo Andrea, ma del papà.
We visited this house for the first time when the restoration and general conservative rehabilitation of the building was still halfway through. Therefore, the only element of inspiration from which this project was born, was the enchanting view of the Mar Grande of Taranto.
Hence the idea of rotating the living room by 45 ° so as to guarantee the view of that view from the sofas, compensating for the empty spaces that were created with respect to the quadrangular shape of the room with an equipped platform.
The entrance to the house has been boxed in a boiserie that integrates, hiding them, the doors of the rooms and containers.
The finishes, materials and furnishings were chosen with respect for elegance and uniqueness that reflects the character of the owners, a couple of doctors, who had clearly expressed the desire to stand out.
A small SPA has been attached to the master bathroom which, without interruption, acts as an anteroom to the master bedroom. On the other side of the house, however, a playroom has been created to accommodate friends, not of little Andrea, but of his father.
